Ironman 1000 is a quality piece of equipment!
I’m a 53 year old male, 6’1″, 185lbs, and suffering from lumbar spinal stenosis, which for me causes pain down the legs and calves due to those nerves being compressed in the lower back.
After 3 back surgeries, I was better but still experienced pain from this back condition. I’m done with back surgeries forever (too much risk, after experiencing a spinal infection after my last surgery). I read up on inversion tables and found that they did help some people with stenosis. I started the search to find one and landed on the Ironman 1000 at Amazon.
I have had this table for over a month. It arrived in great condition. It took a little over an hour to assemble by myself. Most of it is pre-assembled, and it’s actually very easy to put together. As many other reviewers have noted, use your own tools.
My current routine is 5 minutes a day in the morning and 5 minutes a day right before bed. I started the incline gradual (as recommended) and increase it once a week. I still have not hit the straight up 180 degree total incline. It’s very easy to adjust the incline with the safety strap.
The quality of this piece of equipment is excellent. It is solid and I feel totally safe using it. I see some other reviewers complaining about the ankle locks. No complaint here, your weight has to land somewhere, and those ankle pads are just fine. You’re only supposed to be on it 10 minutes at a time, so man up with a minimal discomfort for a few minutes.
My pain is better after one month. I still have some pain but it’s not as over-whelming. I enjoy using the table as I feel the vertebrae expand as I invert relieving the pressure on those nerves. It’s a quality piece of equipment that I would recommend to anyone and at this price, it’s a steal.
